Delivering 1 – 1 consultations training

This course was developed after many of the students and Registered Associate Nutritionists told me they did not feel prepared by their degrees for the practical skills required to deliver consultations. The course looks at the whole client journey and gives tips on each stage.

The course is designed to be interactive and give plenty of opportunity for feedback.

Client forms

If you would like to purchase template client forms – a booking form and initial consultation form, drop me an email and I can send you the details. Introductory offer of just £30.

ANutr group supervision

This group is for freelance Registered Associate Nutritionists in public health (and those who are the only nutritionist in their place of work). The group meets quarterly in Manchester (currently online). We look at complex cases, staying within areas of competency, the latest research and portfolio development.

Here’s what one group member said about the service: “Aliya has been my supervisor for the past year, and I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is very professional, and each session was very well organized with plenty of time to discuss any concerns. Aliya provided excellent guidance on how to develop my portfolio along with plenty of encouragement which has helped me to develop as an associate nutritionist. I always enjoyed the group sessions and would look forwards to the next one.” Kimberley Ridley ANutr

Here’s what one group member said after she transferred to RNutr: “I’d like to say a massive thanks to you for all your support and coaching over the years and providing my reference for this transfer. I could not have done it without you.” Beverley Mort RNutr

I also provide one to one supervision.

Portfolio support

If you have not done an AfN accredited course and would like support with your portfolio, I offer a one to one service to support you. I won’t write it for you but I will help you pull together your evidence and give you guidance on your supporting statement.

“To me, yesterday’s session was so much more than mapping out degree content, It has given me the confidence in my own ability to do this and right now, that’s a really big deal.” Victoria Chapman, nutrition graduate

I am also available to give professional development and portfolio support workshops to students at universities.
