If you are anything like me you will always fill your shopping basket with the same vegetable. This one is an essential for packed lunches. Quickly wash, top and tail them and pop them in. They have a great peppery taste and they are brightly coloured too.

Radishes are a good source of fibre, folate, B vitamins and potassium, and they contain a number of other vitamins and minerals in smaller amounts. Radishes are great raw or they can be tossed into a stir fry. For your recipe suggestion today, why not slice them and pop them into a salad. They will add some colour, peppery flavour, a bit of crunch and some added nutrients.
