Skin and nutrition

There is a lot out there about how you can eat certain foods to improve your skin and generally stop it from ageing. However, research is not conclusive on many of the claims. Research suggests that your best bet, once again, is to have a balanced diet (based on the Eatwell Plate ), drink about 6-8 glasses of water and be sun safe.

Why do we make things so complicated when the same diet is best for avoiding many illnesses? It’s less glamorous and sells fewer newspapers and expensive foods perhaps!?
